Potterverse kept Alive

This is an intro to the World of James Potter.  A Cover Fiction written to keep the world J.K. Rowling created alive.  There is only one book available now and the second on September 1st.  We hope fans will enjoy this tribute/continuation to a great story.

JPHEC came out in December of 2007 via www.elderscrossing.com. It was released one chapter a day for twenty-one days. Since its release, the story has been translated into several languages and achieved a rather remarkably large and diverse world-wide audience. As of this writing, JPHEC has been viewed by an estimated million-plus readers around the world. Even before the story’s release, elderscrossing.com received massive international broadcast news coverage because of the quality of the graphics and the supporting media. After much controversy, the author of JPHEC spoke directly to Ms. Rowling via her agent and offered her an advance copy of the story. Upon viewing it, Ms. Rowling announced that she supported stories such as James Potter and the Hall of Elders’ Crossing, and had no intention whatsoever of preventing the story from being released.
In response to the popularity of JPHEC, and the remarkably positive feedback it received, the author, G. Norman Lippert, decided to move ahead with his plan to write a sequel. Titled James Potter and the Curse of the Gatekeeper, the sequel will pick up exactly where book one left off, but with the addition of new characters Albus Potter, Rose Weasley, Scorpius Malfoy, and others. Equally ambitious in scope and plot, JPCG is slated for release in September of 2008

  1. WOW! i read this book a while ago, and i have to say this book is possibly more beautifully written then JKR’s works.
i agree with this err grotto Diego character, this book is definitely worth while, and it comes with a amazingly nice forum community that talks, joke’s, speculates, and anything else you can think of.
cant wait to see you there!

  2. If you are looking for something to extend the time past DH then James Potter is what you are looking for. G. Norman Lippert is an amazing author that can pull your heartstrings differently than JK Rowling; not better just different.
I believe that you would certainly be missing out on a wonderful experience if you did not look into http://www.elderscrossing.com to read James Potter and the Hall of Elders Crossing and then come back to enjoy James Potter and the Curse of the Gatekeeper with all of us at http://www.gatekeeperscurse.com; you can even discuss the books with us at the grotto keep – our nice little forum – join us we won’t bite!

  3. After reading some of the other fan fiction out there, this is by far the best I have ever read. Since there will be no more Harry Potter (outside the movies) this is the next best thing, Harry’s son, James. Everyone at the Grotto is friendly, helpful and a lot of fun.

People have volunteered to translate the first book into their respective language (German and Spanish are completed, more are in the works). There is even going to be a video series based on first book that will be posted on YouTube. Yup, all volunteered. How many fan fiction writers can say that?

If you are going through Potter withdrawl, you need to check this place out!

what a great idea to start this blog. Thank you!
    To all other visitors:
I do admit that I have read the first book at least half a dozen times (that comes with the burden of translating it to another language), and I have also read book 2, which is even better then the first. So, stay close and watch out: There is some highly thrilling and entertaining story approaching…
It is definitly worth waiting for….

  5. I first read this book last year and have read it thru 4 times since then. I enjoyed seeing what had happened to different characters in the past 16 years or so. The author is very approachable and so are the various forum members. And even better, a 2nd book on James Potter will be released September 2008. I cannot wait. Hope I see some of you guys there.
